Humanitarianism (for once) trumps politics
Would that we would let this happen more often in our national and international lives. This post in Left2Right gets the issue of reprioritizing in the wake of last week's tsunami just right, it seems to me.

I couldn't read "This post in Left2Right" due to technical difficulties. What I find highly ironic is that the pot stirrers who are trying to foul up the Iraqi election have lost their most effective communication device known world wide as CNN due to the world wide interest in the Tsunami problem. It’s times like this that any logically thinking person just has to believe that this vale of tears has a higher power behind it.
