In which the Meridian regrets to inform you of the Death of Science

So also, apparently, judging from some of the comments, has satire died.

It is instructive (in a sad way, for those of us who wish to characterize left-inclined people as having rather more on the intellectual ball than the right-inclined) that ignorance, too, is blue/red colorblind. A (not-at-all-mocking) note to Josh: there appears to be more work to do, and not just in the sciences.

Go and read--and link, if you're so inclined; Mr. Swift has a tit-for-tat linking policy.

(Hat-tip: the always-reliable 3 Quarks Daily--which, at the risk of repeating myself yet again, is intellectual caffeine)
