In which the Meridian queries the blogosphere as to one of its mysteries

I ask this in all seriousness, because I just don't understand.

How is it possible that, even though I've used only one computer at home for visiting my blog and have kept the same internet service provider in all that time, its IP has changed perhaps a half-dozen times over the past year or so, according to my Statcounter account--but not, curiously, according to my GoStats account?

Does that make sense to anyone?

That's happened to me, too and I have no idea. Probably because I'm not 12 years old.
