A "Webbies" reminder

Just a quick reminder to nominate your favorite blogs for categories in the 2007 Weblog Awards before nominations close on (I believe) the 10th (the year is incorrect in the instructions on the ballot, but Wednesday is the 10th). Those looking for hints and directions regarding who is worth of your nomination need look no further than the right-hand gutter of this blog--in particular, those blogs I've listed in "Daily (B)reads" and in the Technorati Favorites widget. Most are small in readership and so would fit quite nicely in the "Best-Kept Secret" category. If you're casting about for other possible nominees, further down in the gutter I have links to blogs on art, music, film, politics, and humor, and there's also a list of Latin American blogs (my friend René of Teoría del caos is in Mexico City, too). Also, the rules of my membership in Clusterflock require me to encourage you to nominate it for Best Group Blog (not really, but it got your attention).

No matter whom you nominate, though, it's nice to give some love to people whose work you admire. Best of luck to them.

Camille,
You're most welcome--and deserving of many many more than just my nominations.

Incidentally: I've been hesitant to do this, but I thought I'd list here the blogs I've nominated for various categories. To save myself some time, I'll forgo linking to them here and just let you know that I've linked to each of them somewhere in the right gutter. Also, I nominated some of these people for multiple categories. I can't vouch for whether I've forgotten anyone, so apologies in advance if you don't see your name here and were kinda sorta hoping for a nomination, even from a no-account like me:
Heaven Tree, Petite Anglais, Tomato and Basil Sandwiches, Raminagrobis, Chase me, Ladies, I'm in the cavalry, Teoría del caos, Beautiful Horizons, Tim's El Salvador Blog, Today at the Mission, 327 Market, A Lake County Point of View, Blog Meridian, Watermark, Woolgathering, Sine.qua.non's Journal, Talking Points Memo, Andrew Sullivan, Sunshine State, Varieties of Unreligious Experience, Clusterflock, 3 Quarks Daily, Crooked Timber, Andrew Simone, Bittersweet Life, Thoughts from Kansas.

Other of these sorts of awards will be coming up, they being annual things and all, so as I learn of them, I will let you know.
