Welcome

It's back-to-school week over here, as I noted in the previous post, and so I want to take this opportunity to say "Welcome" to my students who may be dropping by to see what a boring old English teacher might find blog-worthy. I'll save you some time by referring you to the links under the heading "Assemblages" over on the right-hand side of the page. There, you'll find a list of what passes for a "Best Of" collection of posts on the various subjects that I most concern myself with here. I hope you'll find something of interest there.

I'm very much looking forward to the new semester. I hope you can say something like the same.

I'm curious: do you tell your students about your blog? or do you leave it to chance for some of them to possible come across it?

Pam,
The URL for my blog is on the first page of the syllabus, right below my school e-mail address. I figure it's a way for those who might be interested to get to know something about me and what I'm like on my own time. Occasionally I'll mention when I've blogged about something, too. But, it's not a requirement that students visit.
