Okay, I've never learned how to post a link in a comment the correct way...are there some secret hidden instructions somewhere?

Pam (et al.), here goes, and I hope it makes sense:

1) Type <, immediately followed by a (no space between them), then space once to the right.
2) Type href=, followed by the URL enclosed in quotation marks, followed by a >. This part should look like this: href="URL">
3) Type the word/phrase you want to indicate as the link, immediately followed by <, then/a>--no spaces between any of these symbols.
