On indefinite leave
Not that I've ever posted with machine-like regularity, but: for the foreseeable future visitors here should not expect new posts. The Mrs. has not been well for about a month now, and my concern for her, combined with (somewhat-neglected) teaching responsibilities (which will increase after mid-March), mean that I have to put some other things aside for a while, this blog being one of them.
I'll be back, though: February 27 will mark the 5th-year anniversary of this humble blog, which means a decent-sized investment of my time and energy (and enjoyment) resides in a server or two somewhere out there--too much to let it go entirely. So. I'll see you around, sometime.
